The Auburn Courthouse Cultural centre explodes in 2012 with a great program of guest artists from here & around the world presenting superb music and arts performances Sunday 12 February 2.00pm OPENING SHOW FOR 2012 !!! Sister in Song Salon Show (Vic) Workshop 1.30pm & Concert 3.00pm The Courthouse opens with a groovy wine-bar concert with twin sisters ‘Alana and Alicia’ blending Jazz, Folk & Roots music into their stylish show featuring sweet harmonies and gorgeous songs. Concert only $22/$20 Workshop Only $20 Workshop & Concert $25 Saturday 18 February (4pm till late) Mad Dogs & Englishmen Clare Valley becomes Merry Old England for a fun day of ‘British’ culture. Wed 14 March 8.00pm (Adelaide Fringe Festival show) Bluegrass Invasion with legendary Peter Rowan Band (USA) A living legend of Bluegrass & Old-timey music Peter Rowan started playing with Bill Monroe in a career spanning five decades. He is the consummate touring musician with a solo career and leading US bands. His touring band in Australia comprises three very hot players. An awesome experience of real American music...not to be missed. Breaking musical boundaries and bringing fresh new sounds. Sat 31 March 8.00pm April Verch (Canada) Regarded as one of Canada’s finest female artists. April Verch, doesn’t just perform music, she exudes it. The interna-tionally renowned Canadian fiddler, singer, songwriter and stepdancer has a passion for performing. Ottawa Valley music is a foot-stomping, open-minded fusion of Irish, Scottish, French, German, and Polish influences, sprinkled with tangy spices of American country music.
